Participant of this course may also provide support to larger organisations who have fully trained first aiders (First Aid at Work- 3 days).

Identify the main types of abrasive wheels, their equipment, and understand the hazards associated with there use.
Understand the legal requirements placed on manufacturers, employers and employees for the safe use of abrasive wheels.
How to carry out a risk assessment for the safe use of abrasive wheels.
Control measures and the risks associated with abrasive wheels, including harmful dusts, vibration, noise, fire and electrical risks.
How to safely handle, store, mount, use, dress and inspect the main types of abrasive wheels.
